"Mud" 2. "Driftwood" (a light 3. "Walnut" (a brown stain.)....... I was wondering where can I get some, & if I cant, what would be a good substitute.... anybody help?? << Don't know about the supply conditions down under, but here it is readily available. The Floquil RR colors can be had at any og the Hobbytowns that are worth going into (some aren't) and the Marine colors are at the shops that deal with ships. I guess I am lucky to have both an excellent Hobbytown and a shop that has a great ship selection within 15 minutes of the house. I guess you are limited to ordering from an American supplier, I don't think Squadron carries either line, but Phoenix does IIRC. Some of the other shops in FSM should also carry the paints. S&H will be high, but the bottles are big (1oz/30ml) and last me about a year. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) From: "Gerlach, Bill J" Subject: fiber optics I have a lot of fiber optic strands if anyone needs them for models. They are around 1 1/2 ft. long each. Just let me know how many you need - I'll sell them for much less then you could find them in stores. I wouldn't know how to measer the dia. but they are pretty thin - maybe 1/20th of an inch. Nice kit and I believe it was a Revell. Have not seen it in years, so I guess it went out of production. Apparently, no one was interested much in the racing hydroplanes, but it does make a very pretty model. Lots of great decals advertising products. I would like to see another one kitted. What are we looking at $ wise for a dozen strands? Greg ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- End of Volume
