 They are easy to deal with directly. I believe they take VISA. They also seem to be able to communicate  in English. They probably don't deal with US booksellers as the demand for books in French must be fairly minimal. I have and do receive magazines from them on a regular basis and so far have not experienced any problems. Give them a try.

 If I go to a museum ship, that is one of the goodies I look for, along with the obligatory refrigerator magnet <g>

 I just discovered a French on-line book-seller whose catalogue has good listings of books and magazines from this publisher. It also gives details of content, etc. The site is called net4war, and can be found at:

Subject: Friedman's book

 Does anyone have any information on Norman Friedman's book that was scheduled to be released early in the year? It was one of the design studies series, on Amphibious Ships. I didn't see it listed in the last catalog from Naval Institute Press but it has been in their previous publications as early as last summer. I can't wait to get my hands on one and start building.

 Such things do happen. The USS BAINBRIDGE (DLGN/DGN-25) Reunion Association was able to obtain pieces of deck plate during her scrapping, and has these polished and mounted, and available to Association members.
