 Les

The classic OOP, British Destroyers by Edgar March published by Seeley in London 1966 ,Chapter 3 starts with short discussion on early torpedo boat development, only gets into detail for the "destroyers " after 1893. However there is a good 3 view drawing of torpedo boat #80. The detail on the A class onwards is far more precise. Sorry no ISBN #

Also an 1961 Ian Allen London -Paperback - Warships of WW1 #3 Destroyers by HM Fleming is a much more concise synopsis of the classes from A onwards.

Looks like you have picked a Pre evolutionary subject as little seems to have existed prior to 1893 according to these sources. Contact off list if specifics can be helpful imoore@accesswave.ca

 Hi Les Brown,

in 'Schwarze Gesellen', Vol. 1 by Harald Fock are many photos of torpedo boats and some drawings. I have scanned drawings Thornycroft torpedo boats II. class N° 55-62, but I got this book from library, therefore I am not able to look, if there is a drawing of TB85 included.

 Best regards
 Lars

Subject Re CV-14 / Tico

 Hi Admiral,

84-D is a dark green primer (I've got a sample around somewhere from the RED OAK VICTORY). Something in the way of a dark forest green would do the trick.

 Best regards,

Subject Only one Krivak left in the box?

 Hallo,

Has anyone purchased a Skywave/Pitroad Krivak I/II lately. Have they switched to providing just one ship instead of two or is my retailer tricking me?

On Rajendra's list it made me hope I get two in a box.

 Cheers
 Werner

From "Paul Giltz" <paulship57@hotmail.com>
Subject Ship Plans A.J.Fisher Co./Royal Oak, Michigan

At one time there were plans available of the WWI " Lake" class freighters that were built in huge numbers on the Great Lakes for use in the war effort. The A.J.Fisher Co. of Royal Oak Mi was a manufacturer of model ship fittings and a supplier of those plans, but they have been out of business for several years. Does anyone on the list have a set of those plans, or more information about them?

 Thanks!
