It has taken me the best part of two years to assemble the main component parts and then six months on top of that to finish the model. I drew up the photo etch that was needed and made up a fret from the bank of images I have on file. I persuaded one of the etchers to do a one off job for me, on stainless steel to get a bit of extra strength on some of the larger bits. It was a bit of a marathon build to say the least and probably the most difficult I have done yet. But then some valuable lessons have been learnt along the way............and some new words too!!!!!!!!!!!!!
